The King William’s College Society is raising funds to make awards from time to time to assist members of the Society and their offspring to attend, or continue attending, College. Three students have already been supported. The costs of education at the present are, in real terms, even greater than they were fifty years ago. The Society would like to help in a small way to persuade Alumni that it is possible to send their children and grandchildren to College. The awards in qualifying cases will be based on need and ability and the Society intends to rely heavily on the recommendations of The Principal and The Bursar. The Society is a registered charity in the Isle of Man and as such donations of over £100 should qualify for tax relief in the hands of Manx Taxpayers, subject to personal circumstances. As the Society is a Manx charity unfortunately it is not possible for UK taxpayers to use Giftaid or obtain tax relief in any other way.
Please download a Donation form and send it to the Alumni Office. If you have difficulty doing this, either use the form in the Magazine or copy the "Form for General Donations, Lottery and Appeal".
